Nick Padgett has run Padgett Automotive for 15 years, building his reputation the old-fashioned way. He stands behind every repair and fixes it right the first time. Word of mouth has carried the shop this far, and Nick has grown his team to keep up with demand. He has never had a professional website. This is the kind of business Wilmington runs on: the mechanic everyone trusts but few people online can find.

For nine years, DareDevil Improv Comedy has built a live comedy community in Wilmington, teaching classes and staging shows for people who want real connection instead of a screen. The team runs improv workshops for seniors at the NHC Senior Resource Center and creative self-expression classes for students at Cape Fear Academy. Their social following has grown fast, but their website has not kept pace with their reach. DareDevil wants to turn that following into a physical home for comedy in Wilmington.

Welcome Home Angel has spent nearly 20 years helping local families become families, work built on genuine heart and quiet dedication. The nonprofit is expanding its programs, including a new Able initiative, and needs a stronger digital presence to reach more of the families who need them. A recent setback from fire damage to their office makes this support even more timely.

Little Leaps opened its studio doors in January 2025, bringing developmentally appropriate dance, music, and performing arts classes to Wilmington families with young children. Owner Carrie Smith has grown the studio through word of mouth and community partnerships alone, adding staff and expanding programs along the way. She runs all of the marketing herself and wants to reach more local families who would benefit from Little Leaps but have not found the studio online yet.
