A life-long Carolinian, Jonathan grew up in Fayetteville, graduated with a B.A. in music from Methodist University, and has lived in Wilmington, NC since 2005. When he is not in the orchestra pit at Thalian Hall, spending time on the water, or playing with his two dogs Jonathan loves to travel. Jonathan was looking to take his unique personality and history and enter the world of digital marketing for his new endeavor as a realtor.
As he was launching a new business, Jonathan was looking for a full package of services ranging from logo design to website development. He was also looking for a website that reflected coastal North Carolina but didn’t fall into the same design tropes so often seen in similar websites and displayed his unique personality.
We started, as always, by meeting with Jonathan to assess his design aesthetics, value proposition, and target client. From this meeting, and our own research, we began by creating a custom logo design. We utilized bright, bold colors to draw in the viewer and incorporated realty motifs into the letters while keeping the overall color scheme, blue and green, coastal and clean.
With the logo complete, we had the basis of our overall design and moved forward to website design. In keeping with modern design trends, we pulled the bright green throughout the website and chose vivid images with dynamic buttons. A clean search bar and hero image were utilized on the homepage to better assist visitors in their home search while a secondary call to action was incorporated to capture sellers in addition to buyers. Likewise, we integrated a dynamic MLS feed to ensure the most up to date homes were displayed while allowing for a custom design of both the gallery and individual property page. Finally, we integrated Jonathan’s mailing list service so he can keep in contact with visitors and increase conversions.
Since this was all created on a WordPress platform and incorporates a easy to use front-end page builder with custom built modules, we know this website will continue to serve Jonathan well as his business continues to grow.
